Do you currently submit a self-assessment tax return? See how easy it is to get set up with us and how the process works, below. It’s easier than you might think!
Step 1
Advise us of your current setup so we can estimate your accountancy fees.
Step 2
We will email you an electronic proposal (including quotation).
Step 3
The proposal will include step-by-step details on how to get set up with us.

Provide us with a copy of your ID for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations

Step 4
Complete the electronic self-assessment form in our portal, advising us of things to include within your self-assessment.
Note!
Existing clients will get an email from us on the 1st day after the end of the tax year (6th April) stating they are able to log into our portal to complete their electronic self-assessment form. Once the form is completed we can begin preparing their tax return which starts from step 4 above.
Step 5
Provide us with any of your relevant self-assessment documentation (income & expenses, P60, P45, P11ds etc), by uploading to our portal.
Step 6
You will receive a copy of your self-assessment tax return loaded onto our portal for your signature.
Step 7
Our invoice will be issued relating to the prepared tax returns.
Step 8
Once your return has been signed and our invoice paid by card, you’ll receive either; payment details to HMRC, or you'll be asked to provide the account information details that you would like your tax refund to be paid by HMRC.
Step 9
Process complete!

Option to setup a Direct Debit with us to collect our monthly invoices on their due date automatically
If you are already using Xero, we will request access or have your previous accountant transfer the subscription to us
If you are a new business or not yet using Xero, we will get you setup and integrate your free data capture tool, Receipt Bank
If applicable…
We may need to contact the previous accountant for Professional clearance
Step 4
Provide us with any of your relevant company/personal documentation (Previous years accounts, tax returns, etc) by uploading to our portal.
Step 5
Documents prepared by us will always be uploaded onto our portal for your signature, review and reference.
Step 6
Once your documents are signed they can be submitted to HMRC. All documents prepared by us go through internal checks and reviews before requiring final director sign off prior to submission.
Step 7
Regularly repeat steps 5-6.
